So, as an avid user of Apple's OS X, I understand that my gaming experience can be quite limited. However, there is a movement taking place. It appears that some of the team that developed WINE has been working on a similar idea for OS X. That idea is CIDER. The first game that uses this technology is Heroes of Might & Magic V. Now, I know those games are supposedly the experience in so far as fantasy strategy goes. However, the quandry I'm in is, support the movement and buy a game that I may not even play, or let it go and hope it catches on. I don't like the second of those two options, but I would really like to see more mainstream releases for the Mac platform. With the Havok engine on appearing on the Mac, this means that games like Half Life 2, Battlefield 2142, and even Painkiller could make an entry into OS X. However, there must be a suitable demonstration of this idea's popularity for such an extreme event to occur.

Now, I know that no one here is a windows fan boy, and I do recognize that each platform has its strengths and weaknesses. However, as a gamer, should I suck it up, get the game, and put my money where my mouth is? Or should I slack off and hope that CIDER gains momentum?

So, I was talking with [info]miketodd13 about the "Dictionary of Manliness" and other works that may be related. Ok, so not really related, but associated in my mind. When I remembered the Bruce Campbell book. This, of course, led me to remember Bruce Facts. So, I hit random a couple of times, and I stumble upon this gem.

"Superman is under the impression that Kryptonite is his only weakness purely because Bruce Campbell hasn't ejaculated on him yet."

It's funny... because it's true!

You scored as True Alternative. You are a True Alternative! Labels do not suit you well, particularly as you tend to strike your own path and to grow purely via experience. No armchair quarterbacking for you! Originality and creation are your specialities, and sometimes you can even articulate what the hell just happened. Someday you may find yourself drawing the maps for other people... lots of other people.
